Word on the street

I took the professional program about 3 years ago when the original school was in Bethesda. Their standard program consists every aspect of photography from Introduction to your camera, lighting, studio, portfolio critique, and most importantly the BUSINESS class.I highly recommend [the WSP Professional Photography] program whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll walk out of here with great relations and support afterward.

Excellent classes and professional program! Staff is friendly and helpful. Studios are well equipped. Knowledgable instructors are talented and creative; they’ll meet you at your level and challenge you to always think and improve. Highly recommend.

Having a studio at Washington ArtWorks is amazing – the interactions with my fellow 65 artists have been spectacular. I can honestly say I’ve grown in my field, and have been given many more opportunities to display my work, network with artists, and find clients. The classes and resources offered by WAW are extensive, and the staff members are well connected to the regional arts community.

ArtWorks Aid

The ArtWorks Aid program is designed to broaden the community and charitable involvement of Washington ArtWorks, the National Capital Region’s fastest-growing center for students and professionals in the visual arts. The program is an opportunity for Washington ArtWorks’ students, working artists and patrons to “give back” to the community and support charitable causes in the Washington area and beyond.
